Website Design & ecommerce Payment Solution Case Study
Beech Avenue Brewery are a small micro brewery based in Holt, near the Wales/England border.
They needed an ecommerce website creating that could handle card payments and would be PCI compliant.
I created their website based on an existing WordPress theme. This enabled costs to be controlled for this startup, while having the functionality to add various plugins as required.
I integrated a Stripe payments solution that seamlessly blends in with the website. This was combined with Woocommerce. They accept credit & debit card payments throuh the website which automatically emails clients invoices. Beech Avenue Brewery also receive email notifications when an order is received.

All payment data is actually processed externally on the secure Stripe servers rather than onsite (although the visitor never actually leaves the website).
The brewery needed complex postcode-based delivery tiers setting up (as they provide a local delivery service). This was integrated as part of the payment solution.
I simplified and edited the main website graphics from existing content provided by the client, to match their branding and colour scheme.
Note: While website design is not my speciality, if a client wants a comprehensive monthly package including web analytics, SEO and/or paid advertising activity it often makes sense for me to oversee a new web build if required. This is because without strong SEO foundations and the necessary code being implemented it makes future activity more difficult.
I'm equally happy liasing with external web developers for more complex builds, to ensure you get value and quality.
